3. Purpose of the Network
The network aims to:
- Encourage active participation in biodiversity monitoring.
- Collect reliable field observations across ecosystems.
- Support conservation planning and scientific research.
- Promote awareness and appreciation of nature.
Observers contribute by recording and submitting their field observations through the official ANN system.
4. Contribution of Observations
Members agree to:
- Submit accurate and sincere observations collected in the field.
- Provide, when possible, supporting information such as date, location, habitat description, and photographs.
- Respect ethical practices in wildlife observation, avoiding disturbance or harm.
5. Recognition of Contributors
ANN is committed to valuing the efforts of its observers.
- The name of the observer will always be displayed alongside their validated observations.
- Contributors may be acknowledged in reports, publications, and awareness materials where relevant.
- Outstanding contributors may be highlighted as key supporters of biodiversity knowledge.
All submitted observations become part of the official national biodiversity database managed by the National Agency for Nature conservation (ANN).
6. Use of Data
Observation data may be used by ANN for:

- National and international biodiversity reporting.

7. Personal Data Protection
Personal data is collected solely for the management and operation of the network, in compliance with Algerian Law nº 18-07.
